Property Description
We offer clean, comfortable dormitory accommodations for international students and interns in Washington DC. We are conveniently located next to the subway and have free wireless internet, free public computers, spacious lounges, and gourmet kitchens.
COMMUNAL LIVING & LOTS OF INTERACTION
Our building is designed to encourage interaction among our guests as much as possible. Our rooms (separated by gender) are shared, as are the bathroom facilities, kitchens, and living rooms. Note that privacy is limited, so if you're relatively shy, you may want to consider other options.
HASSLE-FREE RESERVATIONS & SUPPORT
Our website allows you to make reservations in advance to arrange your booking over the internet. All you need is a credit card and a computer. In addition, we have 24-hour email and phone support, and our friendly staff is always available to answer your questions and to help get you settled into the big city.
All of our students have access to shared kitchens and a full bathroom on every floor. The bunk beds are a twin-size bed. Each student receives a locker about the size of a large microwave for their personal belongings. The student will be able to lock their personal belongings but will be responsible for providing a lock.

All of our room options include the following amenities:

There are rooms with 4 bunks, 6 bunks, and 8 bunks. There are female-only, male-only, and co-ed bunks. The bunks are assigned based on a first-come first-serve basis.
All taxes and fees are included in the price. Please note that in order to qualify for the student rate, you must present two items:
* a university ID
* a passport
Simply take the metro from the Georgia-Avenue Petworth station, and you can get to any of Washington DC's great sites (Capitol Hill, White House) within 10 minutes.

Upon exiting the metro, walk straight ahead (in the same direction as traffic) on GEORGIA AVENUE. Turn RIGHT onto TAYLOR. Turn LEFT onto 8th STREET. REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT (approx $1.85)
Take the YELLOW LINE Metro towards FORT TOTTEN to Georgia Ave - Petworth Station. Upon exiting the metro, walk straight ahead (in the same direction as traffic) on GEORGIA AVENUE. Turn RIGHT onto TAYLOR. Turn LEFT onto 8th STREET. The building is YELLOW, and the address is 4115 8th STREET NW. Please note that there is no sign on the outside of the building.
AMTRACK / UNION SQUARE
From Union Station Metro Station, take RED LINE towards Grosvenor Station to Gallery Place / Chinatown metro station. At GALLERY PLACE / CHINATOWN metro station, take the GREEN line metro to GEORGIA AVENUE / PETWORTH station in the direction of GREENBELT. Upon exiting the metro, walk straight ahead (in the same direction as traffic) on GEORGIA AVENUE. Turn RIGHT onto TAYLOR. Turn LEFT onto 8th STREET. CHINATOWN BUS STATION (35 minutes)

GREYOUND STATION(35 minutes)
Walk north towards the NEW YORK AVENUE Metro station on the RED LINE. The station is located between Florida Avenue and M St. NE. Take the train to FORT TOTTEN (in the direction of GLENMONT). Once you arrive at FORT TOTTEN, walk downstairs to the green and yellow line trains. Take the GREEN line metro to GEORGIA AVENUE / PETWORTH station in the direction of GREENBELT. Upon exiting the metro, walk straight ahead (in the same direction as traffic) on GEORGIA AVENUE. Turn RIGHT onto TAYLOR. Turn LEFT onto 8th STREET. BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (1 hour)
Take the B30 bus towards GREENBELT station, and then take the GREEN line metro to GEORGIA AVENUE / PETWORTH station in the direction of BRANCH AVENUE. Upon exiting the metro, walk straight ahead (in the same direction as traffic) on GEORGIA AVENUE. Turn RIGHT onto TAYLOR. Turn LEFT onto 8th STREET.
